Safe Prescribing in General Practice: Kent, Surrey & Sussex GP School (4 June 2026)
This one-day online Safe Prescribing in General Practice course is designed for international medical graduates (IMGs) and GP postgraduate trainees in the NHS. The course develops essential safe prescribing skills to build confidence in managing both adult and paediatric patients. Through interactive case-based scenarios and practical content, participants will learn how to apply UK prescribing guidelines effectively. The course is delivered by a team of experienced NHS General Practitioners, medical educators, and senior Primary Care clinical pharmacists, ensuring high-quality, practice-relevant teaching.
GP Mentorship Programme: Professional Integration into UK General Practice (2025)
This nine-month mentorship programme is designed to support doctors transitioning into UK General Practice training by providing structured guidance, peer support, and practical insights into primary care. Through monthly webinars and small-group mentoring, participants will deepen their skills in consultation strategies, safe prescribing, reflective practice, and e-Portfolio use while also receiving career and wellbeing support. The programme is led by experienced GPs, GP Training Programme Directors, and senior educators, ensuring tailored advice and a supportive community to help new trainees thrive.
Professional Integration into UK General Practice (11-12 July 2025)
This two-day online course aims to support resident doctors who are about to start postgraduate training in general practice in the UK to better understand clinical practice, culture, professional regulation, and governance arrangements in primary care. The goal is to enhance professional integration and develop the skills to enable confident patient management through a wide range of clinical case scenarios and interactive content. Tutors are experienced clinicians in general practice, programme directors, a senior clinical pharmacist, and an independent social worker.
ABG interpretation & Introduction to NIV: Self-Paced Online Course
Master ABG interpretation and Non-Invasive Ventilation with this self-paced, NHS-focused course designed for doctors in Acute, Emergency, and General Medicine & Surgical Specialties. Gain 3 CPD hours of credit and the confidence to make critical decisions on the wards, during crash calls, and during night shifts.

A one-day safe prescribing course to support international medical graduates new to clinical practice in NHS acute hospitals - delivered by NHS consultant physicians, consultant pharmacists, and senior lecturers in pharmacy practice.
Psychiatry for IMGs: Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust
A one-day online course that aims to support international medical graduates that are new to Psychiatry practice in the NHS, with the skills to enable confident management of psychiatry patients through the use of a wide range of clinical case scenarios and interactive content. It is delivered by experienced clinicians in Psychiatry, including NHS consultant psychiatrists and a clinical psychologist.
Communication Skills for IMGs: Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust
This one-day professional communication skills course has been designed to address the specific learning needs of doctors of all grades that are new to the NHS. It is a deep dive into the structure and processes you require to enhance and maintain your professional communication skills.

Welcome to the NHS: Induction course for IMGs
This is a FREE comprehensive induction to practice for International Medical Graduates (IMGs) that have come to work and train in the National Health Service in the UK. It covers a breath of topics on the issues that IMGs may grapple with in the first few months of work. We have co-designed this course with IMGs and experienced medical educators to ensure that the learning needs of IMGs are met.
ECG interpretation course (1st February)
A half-day online course for resident doctors who are new to clinical practice in the NHS, delivered by an NHS consultant cardiologist and electrophysiologist.
Acute Medicine course (7th March 2026)
A one-day online course that aims to support resident doctors in the NHS with skills to enable confident management of acute medical patients through the use of a wide range of clinical case scenarios and interactive content.
